EFFECTIVE 6 OCTOBER 2026

Merchant onboarding privacy notice.

This notice explains the information Rabbit Pay collects for account creation and merchant onboarding. Rabbit Pay currently operates merchant onboarding and TEST-mode payment tooling; live payment processing is separately gated.

Information collected

Account identity and contact details; business and legal identifiers; registered address and authorised-signatory information; settlement-bank details supplied for verification; website and policy URLs; onboarding declarations; verification documents; login/session metadata; security, audit and TEST-transaction records.

Why it is used

To create and secure merchant accounts, save onboarding progress, verify business information, review merchant eligibility, prevent abuse, maintain audit records, provide TEST-mode tools, support operations, and prepare for integration with regulated/acquiring payment partners where applicable.

Security

Rabbit Pay uses HTTPS, merchant-scoped sessions, password hashing, encrypted onboarding data and encrypted verification documents. Raw card credentials are not collected or stored by this onboarding system.

Sharing

Information may be shared with service providers, verification providers, banks, acquiring institutions or authorised payment partners only where required to verify or operate an approved service. Live financial processing is not enabled merely by completing this form.

Retention and corrections

Merchant information is retained for account, audit, compliance and security purposes according to applicable operational and legal requirements. Merchants can update draft onboarding information before approval and can request corrections through Rabbit Pay operations.

Important

This is the operational privacy notice for the current Rabbit Pay onboarding release. It should be reviewed and updated alongside final legal, regulatory and production-partner requirements before live payment processing is enabled.
